Best food to fight chill
Hot soup raises the body temperature quickly. Another dish that is easy to make and can be adapted to almost any taste, is oven-baked potatoes.
Take one or two big bake potatoes per person and punch ten holes in them with a toothpick. Put them in the oven at 200 degrees for at least 1 hour and 20 minutes. They should be soft in the middle when they are done.
Cut a cross in them and squeeze the sides until they open. Serve with your favorite cold hash or curd or cottage cheese and minced onion, apple, beans, and freshly ground black pepper on top.
What is your favorite dish for when it’s cold outside and you feel a bit chilly?
Sorry about the uninspiring photo.

When I go to any football matches I would always have pie and gravy to warm me up!

Hot spicy food is what my precious boyfriend would suggest you all. Hot Mexican food, like spicy vegetarian tacos and burritos…
I love potato and leek soup!
#4: Also very cheap and easy to make. :-)

I'm fighting the chill off today with classic tomato soup.
