Black Bean and Jalapeño Mexican Burgers

Super yummy, oil-free, spicy, and protein packed Mexican burgers! 🌮🍔🌵

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 cans of black beans, rinsed
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1 jar of jalapeños (half for topping)
  • 2 tablespoon chipotle powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 shallot
  • Juice of two limes
  • 8 sun-dried tomatoes from a jar in oil

Toppings:

  • 4 burger buns
  • Cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Tomato
  • Lettuce
  • Chipotle hot sauce
  • Jalapeños

## Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a food processor. Form into 8 patties and bake for 20-30 minutes flipping half way through.

Serves 4.
