This has turned out to be one of my fav veggie burger recipes! I highly recommend trying it out. It is really filling and satisfying. My boyfriend said it was better than the meat burger he had for lunch. 🍔😍

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 1/4 cup green lentils cooked in veggie broth
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 2 tablespoons oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon flax seed
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 red onion (or white but not yellow!)

Spices: Red pepper flakes, sage, cumin, curry, tumeric, cayenne, oregano, cilantro

Method:

Mix the nuts, lentils, seeds, and veggies in a food processor until finely chopped with some bigger chunks for texture. Mix this with the rest of the ingredients in a large both.

Makes 4-5 patties.

You can fry or bake for 20 minutes. I chose to bake.

Serve alongside sweet potato fries and topped with cheddar cheese, tomato, arugula, pickled jalapeño, yellow mustard, mayo, and sriracha. 🍟🍔

Haha I try but I could try harder if it weren’t for the fact that I’m so hungry that I rush the photography step.
