Creamy Homemade Hummus

I made homemade hummus, homemade walnut bread and green pea soup last night for dinner. It was SO delicious and packed with protein. 💪🏼🌿👊

What you’ll need:

3 cans of chickpeas (with skin removed from each chickpea, this is how you get creamy smooth hummus)

1 head of garlic roasted in the oven for 30 min with olive oil

1 tablespoon olive oil and more for garnish

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon cayenne

Mix all of this in a food processor until smooth

For garnish: paprika, parsley and a spoonful of chickpeas

It was so yummy! I thought it was going to last awhile since there was a lot of hummus. But we ate it all 😂 for lunch today.
